How it All Started
Founded in 2019 by Andrea Harris, a former Emergency Veterinary Technician, Hippie Hounds began with a mission to create safe, effective CBD products for pets. Recognizing the lack of high-quality options, Andrea formulated treats and tinctures with human-grade ingredients and full-spectrum hemp oil, bringing compassionate care to pets everywhere. What started with Ziploc bags quickly grew into a thriving business that now serves retail and distribution partners across the country.

Investing in Our Custom Cookie Press
We took a big leap by investing in a custom cookie press to streamline production! Instead of pressing treats by hand, our new press ensures consistency, saves hours of work, and improves efficiency—so your pets get their treats faster.

New Facility, Bigger Possibilities!
After years of growth, we outgrew our previous space and expanded into a 3,000 sq/ft manufacturing facility in Conway, AR. This new space allows us to increase production, maintain quality control, and continue innovatingwith ease.
Every treat and tincture is now made in-house with even more precision and care.
2021
Our First Commercial Oven
Baking treats in a standard oven worked… until it didn’t. As demand grew, so did our need for better, faster equipment.
Upgrading to a commercial-size oven allowed us to speed up baking time and keep up with orders without sacrificing quality

New Facility, Bigger Possibilities!
A huge milestone for Hippie Hounds—we finally had a space to welcome customers in person. Our retail store not only gave pet parents a place to shop but also created a community hub for education, meet-ups, and events.
2020
Our First Veterinary Partner
Getting Hippie Hounds into vet clinics was a dream come true. We partnered with trusted veterinarians who believed in our products and wanted to offer natural wellness solutions to their patients.

Our First Package Design
We started with homemade labels and Ziploc bags, doing whatever it took to get our products into customers’ hands. But as demand grew, we knew it was time to level up.
Our first attempt at "real" packaging wasn’t perfect, but it gave our brand a more professional look and made our products stand out both online and in stores. It was the beginning of a more polished Hippie Hounds!

Where it All Began
Hippie Hounds was born in Andrea’s home kitchen. After the Farm Bill passed in 2018, legalizing hemp products, she saw a huge gap in quality pet CBD options. Using her background as a Veterinary Technician, she began handcrafting full-spectrum hemp treats for dogs using only human-grade, all-natural ingredients.
